Celebrities Join the Fight Against Offshore Drilling

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., John F. Kennedy's son, and actor Robert Wagner are the latest celebrities to join the fight against offshore drilling.

The two stars joined forces with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) on Tuesday to launch a new campaign to stop the Trump administration from opening up more than 90 percent of the nation's outer continental shelf to oil and gas drilling.

The campaign, called "Protect Our Coasts," is aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of offshore drilling and to pressure the Trump administration to reconsider its plans.

"Offshore drilling is a dirty and dangerous business," said Kennedy. "It threatens our coastal communities, our beaches, and our marine life. We need to stop this before it's too late."

The campaign is also supported by a number of other celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, and Julia Roberts.

The celebrities are lending their voices to the campaign in an effort to raise awareness about the issue and to put pressure on the Trump administration to change its course.

The Trump administration has proposed opening up more than 90 percent of the nation's outer continental shelf to oil and gas drilling.

This would be a major expansion of offshore drilling in the United States, and it has the potential to cause serious environmental damage.

Offshore drilling can lead to oil spills, which can devastate marine life and coastal communities.

It can also pollute the air and water, and it can contribute to climate change.

The NRDC is urging the Trump administration to reconsider its plans for offshore drilling.

The group argues that the risks of offshore drilling are too great, and that the benefits do not outweigh the costs.
